“Slapdash” investigates the dilemma of artificial, cramped, geometric forms of the city and the scattered, asymmetric and unpredictable form of the nature.
Influenced by the instant and random feature of analog shooting, Kıvılcım Güngörün searches the aesthetic of coincidence by keeping the memory records of the places she passed through with her camera. Approaching the city and nature dilemma through forms, colours and materials, in “Slapdash”, she reinterprets a selection among her photo archive with a series of installations produced with artificial and natural materials such as soil, canvas, canopy, plexiglass.
